BITHYNIA. Cius. Gallienus, 253-268. Diassarion (?) (Bronze, 25 mm, 8.84 g, 11 h). ΠΟΥΒ ΛΙΚ ΕΓΝ ΓΑΛΛΙΗΝΟC ΑΥΓ Radiate and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right, seen from behind. Rev. KIANΩN Herakles standing right, resting his right hand on his hip and leaning left on club set on rock, lion skin draped over club; to left, bow and quiver. RG -, cf. 134 (differing obverse die and slightly differing reverse). SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock -. Extremely rare. The obverse struck slightly off center and minor traces of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
